Why Alumni Grants Matter.

Support That Lasts Beyond Care. Opportunity That Lasts a Lifetime.

When young people leave care, their journey is just beginning. Together, we can ensure they have the resources, stability, and confidence to build independent, fulfilling lives.

At Everstand, we believe support should not end when a young person exits care. The transition into adulthood can be exciting, but it can also bring sudden responsibility: housing costs, education expenses, transportation, job readiness, and unexpected emergencies.

Watch this video to hear from Tareya J., our 1:1 Middle School Aide at Strawbridge who was once also a youth in Everstand's care.  Learn more about the impact of our Alumni Grants Program.

Our Alumni Grants Program is part of our full continuum of care, helping young adults pursue education, build careers, secure stable housing, and meet essential life needs as they move toward independence.

Like all of our work, this support is rooted in stability, healing, and long-term success for the young people and families we serve. Our programs focus on creating safe, supportive environments where youth can heal from trauma and build strong futures.

The Impact of Your Gift

Your support does more than meet immediate needs. It sends a powerful message:
You are seen. You are valued. You are not alone.

Alumni Grants have helped young adults:

  • Earn professional certifications that open doors to higher-paying careers
  • Continue college or workforce training programs
  • Maintain stable housing during financial hardship
  • Purchase essential household items while starting families
  • Navigate emergencies without losing momentum toward independence

Each grant is rooted in dignity, encouragement, and belief in alumni potential.

How Your Support Works

Your generosity extends care beyond program exit and into the next chapter of life — one filled with growth, stability, and possibility.

The Power of the Alumni Grants Program

Crystal Fridy, Program Alumna + Current Staff

When I left Everstand, I went to Loyola College full-time and worked part-time as a cashier at the local grocery store. Everstand paid for my textbooks each semester and paid my energy bill each month. I graduated from Loyola College with my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Through Everstand’s Alumni Grant Program, my undergraduate student loans were completely paid.

Donate Today!

Our alumni succeed because of a community that believes in them. When you give, you join a network of supporters helping young adults move forward with confidence and stability.

This year, more young adults are aging out of care and stepping into independence. Your support ensures they step forward with resources, encouragement, and a community that continues to stand beside them.
